The majority of Australian Goat skins come from feral animals born and bred in
Australia's outback region. The goats are slaughtered both in licensed game and export meatworks.

Drum Salted Goat Skins
100% Machine Flayed Abattoirs Run Selection excluding damaged & torn skins
are drum salted in agitators with fresh coarse refined salt containing chemicals for
the elimination of bacteria at time of curing. A typical offering would consist of selection 80/20 sound/cut grades.

Sound Skins
Free of through holes in the prime area of the skin, may have up to 3 small holes
on the extremities of the skin, good shape and free from bacterial damage.

Cut Skins
Up to three small holes in the prime area of the skin, some slightly misshapen
skins may be included however torn and bacterial damaged skins are excluded.
